I completed PhD in Physics from IITK in 2002. During this time in
IITK I was a senator and also once a member of HEC of Hall4. I have also
represented students on DPGC, SPGC, COW, sub-committees of HEC, etc. After
completing my PhD, I spent one year in France where I carried research on
Gallium Nitride quantum dots. Currently I am working in North Carolina State
University on high energy storage materials. I have always enjoyed working
for student/alumni activities. I am specially interested in enhancing alumni
participation in activities for general development of the institute which is
in tune with the aims and objective of alumni association.
