Lecture Series The Lecture Series section displays the various lectures series that are initiated at IIT Kanpur. Lectures are deliver to the Institute academic community, so that they can share the excitement of research with others. Majority of them have been initiated with the help of alumni.

INTRODUCTION TO UMANG GUPTA DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI LECTURES SERIES

Mr Umang Gupta (BT/CHE/71, Chairman & CEO, Keynote Systems Inc., USA) delivered the inaugural lecture entitled, ‘The Road Less Travelled: The Journey of a Silicon Valley Pioneer’ on December 15, 2003. On this occasion Umang was also conferred the Distinguished Alumnus Award 1996-97 for his outstanding contributions to Information Technology and exemplary entrepreneurship.
