| We invite you to submit nominations for the IITK West Coast Alumni
Leadership Award to be presented at the IITK Alumni Association Northern
California Chapter Annual Gala Dinner 2009 on Saturday May 30, 2009 at the Computer
History Museum, 1401 N Shoreline Blvd., Mountain View, CA, 94043.

This award recognizes alumni who have demonstrated leadership in one or
more of the following areas: entrepreneurial success, technology innovation,
corporate business achievement, academic excellence, and community service.
We also have a special award for younger alumni who have graduated in the
last ten years (1999-2008)
1. Any IIT Kanpur alumni residing on the West Coast of the United
States is eligible, except those that have already received the IITK
Distinguished Alumnus Award or the IITK West Coast Alumni Leadership Award.
2. Self nominations will be accepted and you can submit as many
nominations as you wish.
3. You do not have to reside on the U.S. West Coast to nominate Alumni
residing on the U.S. West Coast.
Please take a moment and nominate IITK alums who you feel deserve
recognition for their achievements, and who are residing on the West Coast
(including California, Oregon and Washington).
Please respond by May 10, 2009.
The selection committee consisting of former award winners and
Distinguished Alumni, will select the award winners. All decisions of the selection
committee will be final. We will communicate the names of the award winners
by May 18, 2009.
