Mr. BVR Mohan Reddy graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 1971 from the College of Engineering, Kakinada, Andhra University and thereafter perused his first Masters degree in Industrial Engineering from IIT, Kanpur. His second Masters was from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor USA.

Mr. Reddy started his career in the DCM Group (Shriram Refrigeration) in 1974. His 17 years of professional career thereafter was unblemished with significant contributions, achievements and was filled with accolades from his supervisors, peers and reportees. In Shriram Refrigeration his contribution to assembly line operations in Diesel Engine production significantly improved line productivity. In MICO Bosch, he put in place state of the art computer systems for the organization.
Subsequently in HCL Mr. Reddy was the best sales and marketing manager across the country for consecutive years. These contributions were well recognized and helped his rapid career progression. The last part of professional career before turning into an entrepreneur was with OMC Computers as President and Managing Director. Here he pioneered the introduction of CAD/CAM systems in India and the adoption of these technologies by the Indian manufacturing industry.

This wealth of knowledge and experience ignited a desire and passion in him to venture into entrepreneurship – a new turn in life. He thus found Infotech Enterprises in 1992 with a vision of ‘Providing technology solutions to global customers at an affordable cost with world-class quality’. Because of his vision, passion, commitment and hard work from a small beginning in fifteen years Infotech grew to be a global technology services company with Rs 540 Crores revenues, over 5,000 employees from eight different nationalities in 25 offices spread around the globe and with a substantial share holding from Foreign Institutional Investors. Infotech Enterprises today is a global powerhouse of talent in providing high technology Engineering Design and Geospatial Data and Technology Services to some very prestigious customers.

Mr. Reddy succeeded to fulfill his objective in building a world class organization through his commitment to what he calls “.PPT” (People, Processes, Tools, Technology and Training). He believes that his concern and equitability to all the four stake holders viz., Investors, Customers, Employees and Society - who contribute to build organizations makes Infotech Enterprises a long term sustainable organization.

Mr. Reddy was and is involved actively in various industry associations and has held executive positions in: Electronics Industry of Andhra Pradesh (ELIAP), Hyderabad Software Exporters Association (HYSEA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) & National association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM).
Besides, he is also a member of various University Advisory Boards and Councils. While providing strong leadership in these positions, he represented the industry effectively for better industry prosperity and better academic-industry interactions. Mr. Reddy is a strong believer of Corporate Social Responsibility and actively contributes to the society and industry and devotes considerable amount of time and money to social causes.
Mr. Reddy has received numerous awards for his accomplishments:

- 1996 – Entrepreneur of the Year by Hyderabad Management Association
- 1999-2000 – Outstanding Entrepreneur by Ernst & Young
- 2004 – Outstanding Achievement by All India Manufacturers Org (AIMO)
- 2007 – Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) from Jawaharlal Technological University (JNTU)
